When should those at USMA Prep and AOG Civil Prep know if they have been accepted... I know this is an on going question, but you would think if USMA wanted them enough for to be chosen for the Prep programs, they would be notified early on instead of enduring that long and painful wait in getting an appointment letter now that it's March 1st.

Hang in there. Waiting is tough (particularly if you were never good at waiting for Christmas like I was) :shake:. To answer your question, my son received his AOG scholarship letter in early March two years ago (he is a plebe now). Others received them later.

My son received his AOG civil prep offer in early April 2006.

Strangely, we got accepted today in a round about way. We got a letter from our son's Congressman congratulating him on his appointment. His Liaison Officer confirmed the appointment, but said the USMA letter was supposed to have gotten here before that of the Congressional letter. Blame the USPO and the snow storms. But all is well and we're headed for the class of 2014...
