I was wondering if there is any way to either transfer out of West Point and become a warrant Officer or be commissioned as a Warrant Officer?
Thanks for the reply. If I was to walk out of USMA would I enlist then go to WOCS or would I go directly to WOCS?

I am already at West Point and most likely will not be high enough to branch Aviation. I also heard that Warrant Officers get to fly more.
I was told ADSO would only move one up 200 or so in the ranking...not sure if that's true. If this cadet can still "walk out," I would imagine he's a first semester yearling...isn't that a bit early to give up on getting the branch he wants? There are still 4 semesters of grades/military/physical to average in. Intead of figuring a way out, why not figure out a way to make the goal a reality?
