USNA Class 2029 Application Error

I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but whenever I try to apply to the USNA Application that just opened up for the Class of 2029, I get a error message saying 'Your email address has already been used to make an account' along the lines of that.

I tried to sign up on 3 different email accounts, disabled all adblockers, etc, followed the instructions. I never applied before so I know the error is false. Is anyone else having this problem/ or has anyone been able to successfully sign up? This is the link I'm using: https://www.usna.edu/Admissions/Apply/index.php#fndtn-panel3-Steps-for

Maybe a glitch in just being opened. You could reach out to the IT group, and/or wait to try again tomorrow??

Edited to add: Did you ever sign up or apply for NASS, Inspire, or any other USNA program? If so, you would use that account email.

have you applied to SS? If you did then that already counts as your first step to application.

It’s actually the pre-application. Have you already signed up for something? Ie: sports camp, NASS? Sounds to me like you are already in the system.

This is not the main application.

Official full applications do not open until July when USNA issues candidate numbers. The preliminary app right now is just for name, email, address, test scores. If you’ve applied to STEM or Summer Seminar, you’re already in the system.

I applied and got into USAFA Summer Seminar, I did not apply to USNAs or even touch their system, so I doubt it's correlated. I'm assuming there's a glitch somewhere, so I'm reaching out to IT/Help now.

If the system thinks the email is already in use, have you tried just doing a password reset for that email address?

The class of '29 application is not open yet. I'm guessing that is the issue.
 
I’m having the same issue. Do you mind explaining what you did? I submitted mine, got an error because the sports drop-down wasn’t working, and when I tried to submit again it said my email address was already used. I never got a Success message.

That's exactly what happened to me.
Do a password reset, using the email of whatever account you used first. It registered your account but error'd out and didn't tell you. It might take a hour to come in. Every time you try to resubmit it will change the email in the system, so try to remember what email you used originally.

Did you end up getting a confirmation? I finally called admissions and they told me they had me in the system so all is good. Said we would get portal info mid May.
