Those pulled late, are from the waitlist. Which requires that each participant either accept, or decline, their placement on the list. If also comes with instructions, including move forward with plan B’s.
Those not on the waitlist will be notified soon. Yall are in a different category than waitlisters.
I’m sorry for the delays. Maybe put all this aside, and focus on fun stuff this weekend. I’m certain admissions would prefer to not have to wait, as well. Think about this: if you were decided as FQO of appointment yesterday, you wouldn’t find out until Monday, anyhow, with the congressional notification period that’s allowed.
Soon!
Adding this: patience, and the ability to handle stuff like this, is IMPERATIVE in the military. My son has been delayed, and delayed, and delayed, and delayed (over a year) in his move from his current port to an international one. Keeps getting pushed back. It affects a lot of things (car purchases, spousal employment, leases and housing, and more). He also has been told he is changing departments for over a year (gets pushed back a month here and there, promises of ‘soon’, over and over and over). That affects his training, working hours and schedules. Point is, this delay period exposure you are going through, is wonderful training for your future life.
As a civilian, we are used to things running a certain way. It’s just different in the military. Period. Doesn’t mean people aren’t trying. They are. But, a GOAL date isn’t a promise. And not an exaggeration (where are my Mid parents
), being flexible is what it’s all about. You have almost no control over anything, for the next many years. Semper Gumby.
