It says that they have taken another look and have placed him on the waitlist. He was turned down last Tuesday. Obviously good news, but curious if anyone has seen this before. That is great news for your DS and it seems has though others have also received this.

Having said that, I am sorry to say that no matter how you dice it, I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A RIDUCULOUS approach from any higher Education Admissions office. EVER!. Is this not suppose to be the US NAVY!. Maybe they need to raise their standards a bit...

Why not just make a Waitlist to Appointment instead? A decision to TD a person should be given more respect..

Shoot shoot shoot!:) You are an exceptional candidate and I know you’ll serve this country proudly and distinctively as an officer! Good luck at NROTC and college next year and on your re-application; you won’t need it because you have such the right attitude and work ethic!

Congratulations!! The waitlist FAQ letter on the portal says that waitlist is not ranked and they’re pretty vague about what brings you off of it, most likely because there are a million moving parts. Best of luck!!
