Senator Kaine sends all applicants a letter regardless of whether they received the nom or not?
Gillibrand in NY does not notify the “nays” and the office doesn’t respond to emails or phone calls. The Senator runs a Service Academy night but doesn’t notify her constituents. It’s distasteful.
Luckily DS secured a nom from MOC

I am fairly certain that Kaine lets you know one way or another. One of his sons is (or was) an active duty Marine officer, so I feel like he "gets it" a little more with what parents are going through.

It is very pleasing to see all the checkmarks, but maybe it means I have a different outcome this time around.
 
Well, DS did get his letter from Kaine and as he suspected, it was a no. So unfortunately, DS is 0-3. Best of luck to everyone in C/O 2028, maybe you will see us back next year. Many thanks to the tireless volunteers that helped guide us through this crazy time.

I have a quick question- I received an LOA on 12/12, then only missing my nomination. I received my nomination and my MOC informed me that my official offer of appointment should be in my portal today. There is still no change, is that something to be worried about or should I remain patient? Thank you!

Hi! anyone know why the due date on the portal keeps changing? It was Jan 31, 2024 for the whole time til yesterday it went to March 31, 2024 and then today it’s Feb 15, 2024. Luckily my DS got everything in on the 30th but just wondering if anyone knew!? Good luck all!!:)

New March 31st deadline?

I think I see what is happening. My daughter says her portal shows that some items updated for her with today as the date confirmed/updated. So maybe theyre just trying to process documents and scores they have received over the past two weeks and needed the portal open to do so.

This might be a dumb question but I mailed my NJROTC nomination in on Monday January 29 but it arrived yesterday past 5 will this nomination still count?
