Are there any parts during the day where mids get, some sort of "Free time" to go around the campus, or maybe even the town?

I'd imagine it wouldn't be until sophomore year where this actually happens, or even Junior year, but can someone just list out the level of freedom one gets by year?

    Thanks

A good bit of general info is posted here. You are referring to 'liberty' which is either Yard or town liberty....Those are also described here:....http://www.usna.edu/geninfo.htm

Ahh, thank you. That actually answered every question.

I knew that they weren't granted like, "Oh, I'm bored, lets go do something in town at 4 a.m" privileges, but I wasn't sure if it was restricted to campus at all times, unless you are an upperclassmen, or something.

Free time, what is that? As a Plebe, you will find that even during your "free" time, you will be either studying or thinking about studying. :(
