Hello everyone, I am posting in hope of finding out a little bit about my chances. I am currently a freshman at a local college and just finished my first semester. I finished with a 3.4 GPA. I applied to VMI as a Senior in High school and was wait listed, I had a very close relationship with my admission officer and the only reason why I was not accepted was due to a low high school GPA.

I applied to VMI for Early Decision because my number 1 goal is to attend VMI.

I am just wondering what my chances are of being accepted. I have heard from multiple people that applicants who were not accepted but then apply for transfer the following year are usually accepted.

I would love any advice or information.
    Thank You,
    Connor

I'm confused...are you transferring to West Point or VMI? This is the USMA portion of the forum but if you look down the list you will see a section for Public and Private Military Colleges.

    Good luck!

No problem! You can ask one of the mods to move the post for you to the Military College section so you will get plenty of advice.
