I am sorry your child hasn't heard anything yet from NROTC. That is a double bummer! I wish your family good news soon!!
I need to get off this Forum, because I am spreading negativity. My child actually has great college options that he is bouncing around the house about, so I am not sure what is wrong with me! But, I guess I was kind of irritated all year, because the USNA process was compounded by a Regional Director and B&G Officer who never responded to my child's calls/emails, which were just 2-3 all year. Funny how admissions counselors at private colleges that receive 30,000-40,000 applications were able to respond to him within the same day when he had questions, but USNA, with just 19,000 apps, of which only about 25% of those were "real" apps with noms, ignored his communications. I guess that should have been a sign.
