DS contacted his case manager today to get an update, has been over 30 days from submitting his additional medical information. The case manager said his "case was withdrawn".

Does anyone know what this means?? His waiver was for mild asthma.

Sounds like the applicant or admissions can only withdraw a waiver request. We didn't do it, so why would admissions do it. Nothing on my DS side has changed. No drop in grades, didn't get into trouble or anything else.

Not sure whey they would withdraw his waiver after they asked for it, then had us jump through tons of hoops and spend lots of money.

Has your son received an appointment? If he hasn’t, maybe admissions closed his file?

Update. DS got denied, go the email about 30 mins ago. Onto plan B. University of Colorado here we come.

Best wishes to everyone else still waiting.

DS applied to USAFA and got a TD. DoDMERB status also changed to Withdrawn for USAFA. However he received also a TD for USNA but his DodMERB status is still showing Waiver Requested.

Same thing happened to my DD. USAFA TD followed shortly by DoDMERB status changing to Withdrawn for USAFA. DD also applied to USNA, USMMA, and NROTC. She received a LOA from USMMA and the Waiver Granted came through on USMMA yesterday. She's on the waitlist at USNA . . . USNA and NROTC are still showing "Under Waiver Review" on DoDMERB. Good luck with Plan B!
