4 years ago, I experienced some recurring midfoot pain and was referred to an orthopedist. A CT scan revealed that the pain was due in part to a tarsal coalition. My understanding is that tarsal coalitions are DQ and that waiverability depends on function and range of motion. Can anyone comment on how easy or difficult it is to obtain waivers for conditions like these? Does having proper function and range of motion ensure that a waiver will be issued? Thank you for any input.
