Well they decided to pursue a waiver in September. That week, they requested a remedial(Methacholine Challenge Test). Took about three weeks for DoDMETS(DoDMERB's private contractor) to find a hospital to administer the test, but the test is hard to come by. After I took the test September 30th, DoDMERB posted it to the Waiver Authorities at West Point on October 8th. On November 1st, yesterday, the waiver authorities granted the waiver.
It really depends on your condition and the type of remedial you have to complete. But I'm no expert.
Talk to Larry Mullen about all of this. He's the Deputy Director at DoDMERB, and he is the expert. He could definitely give you a decent estimate on the time it'll take. You'll find him under the DoDMERB section on this forum.
