I have a strong desire to serve, and have applied for all three ROTC scholarships, but Air Force is by far my first choice. I have put my major down as civil engineering, and I have a 3.81 unweighted GPA, 4.2 weighted, with 1380 SAT's and am in the top ten percent of my class. I interviewed well according to my interviewer, and I also scored very well on the PFT with perfect sit-ups, pushups, and 10:34 on my 1.5 mile run. I am also one of the top 6 officers in my AFJROTC corps with over 190 cadets. I was informed by the first board that I did not receive a scholarship, and that my application would meet the 2nd board based on my rank. I was wondering if anybody could weigh in on whether pushing me to the next board is a good or bad thing, and if you think i can still receive a scholarship. Any input would help, thanks
