What do these terms mean?

Hi all,
I have been confused lately on the USAFA admissions terms.
Once your file is past the "selections panel", where does it go?

I've heard terms like "committee panel" and "academy board", are those synonymous?

The Selections Panel gives you the rating/ composite score correct? What happens next?

Each academy has different terms and it gets confusing to read.

Thank you in advance! I searched through the forums page by page and couldn't find anything with those terms.

Every SA has their own website where they describe in detail the application process. That is always a good place to start. There is really no need to be overly concerned about minor details about what this committee or that is called. Some get overly wrapped up in what day/time of the week these groups meet to review applications which makes NO difference in the bigger picture of things. Better to focus on the aspects of your application that you can control.
