I keep seeing people on scholarship refer to the dodmerb's physical and medical tests. I am unsure about what they look at. Is it just like getting a physical? Do you also have to take some sort of PFA during it too?

It's a military physical consisting of two medical checks. One will be like a sports physical but a bit more thorough. Additional tests include a hearing test and movement test of joints and limbs. The other will be a vision test that will check for color blindness, depth perception, damage to eye, myopia, etc. DODMERB stand for Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board, will cover the test costs and is required for all potential scholarship and academy cadets/midshipmen. A PFA is not a part of DODMERB but is a part of your actual application into ROTC/academy.
