What Now?

How was this information relayed to you? An email, phone call, FFR? portal or a letter? My DS's Portal is all complete and all green checks. NO "movement" since Jan.30 except for 7th semester transcripts. Thanks
LOA are "Letter of Assurances" that are given out by the academies. It's talked a lot around here and also stated by the academies specifically if they give one out to you, whether the file is called "Letter of Assurance" or the letter states that you are "assured of an appointment" once you are 3Q and received nomination. If you are 3Q and get an LOA, once you get your nomination, you will get your appointment. However, if you are "all green" like you stated, then it is simply a waiting game for you!

If it's true that this forum represents 10%, then there have already been 1,000 candidates offered appointments. There are 100 appointments posted on this forum.

I would suggest everyone have a solid plan B. My DS had a senate nom and congressional nom. He was 3Q and on the NWL. Awarded a 4 year AROTC scholarship and accepted into a nationally ranked top 5 engineering school. From this it can be assumed that he had a strong application. He got a turn down letter from WP last week.
I'm sorry to hear that :( but with the application strength that your son has, I'm confident he'll be successful wherever he goes! & congrats on the AROTC Scholarship!

Ugh. That is rough. Glad he has a strong Plan B!
