DS just got his BFE this past Monday 17 Mar. He was principle appt from MOC, senatorial, and 4 yr AROTC. He talked to his MOC to thank him day he received it and his MOC said this is normal time for our state to find out. I know many of the south and coast states find out earlier but our DS is evidence that not all MOC appts go out in the first wave. The south tends to have earlier MOC application deadline and interview earlier, my DS did not interview until second week in Dec with his MOC. I know there is a final day all MOC's to have their rankings in, just a thought if MOC's get it in sooner and applicant's portal is complete they may have better shot at going out in first wave. Also, many high schools (including my DS) do not finish first semester until late January and are not able to get those grades sent to WP until mid to late Feb. Just my opinion that the application process doesn't always follow a specific pattern of 'first wave' & 'second wave'.
We have a couple cousins that live in the south and they found out of SA acceptance back in Jan., husband is USAFA grad so this process has brought back many memories for him. Good luck to all!!!
