Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but this most closely relates to my question.
Beginning of my Freshman year I was sent to the ER for drinking a tad too much, I was there for about 30 minutes and was told to go home. No IVs, no nothing. Was just told to drink lots of water and to get some rest. (Haven't drank since) and I started AF ROTC my sophomore year, from my understanding of this thread, there seems to be a battle of telling my det and not telling my det. In my case, I was never a part of the det when it happened, and my BAC was .15 if I remember correctly. No one saw me, no one had any idea that I was even considering the military. I'm also not going for a rated slot and my job only needs secret clearance. The only reason this actually crossed my mind (I completely forgot about the whole situation) was because I came across this thread. I've already done DoDmerb and gone to SFT. Do I need to worry about anything or should I just continue on? I wasn't trying to be dishonest, I just never considered it to be a big deal, and vowed to never touch alcohol again. So I just forgot.
