WP shuttles to EWR and other NYC airports

DS is thinking of coming home over Labor Day weekend. How effective/reliable are the WP shuttles to and from these airports?

West Point arranges for a shuttle/bus company to take cadets to/from West Point and the 3 NYC-area airports for the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. My DD's experience with that arrangement over the 4 years she was there was really good. She didn't miss any of her flights to EWR. Getting back to West Point wasn't bad either. She was able to get on a bus within an hour of landing.

As for the other long weekends, the cadets are on their own to arrange for transportation. Many use the mass transit system. West Point does not have arrangements with a bus/shuttle company for the long weekends.
 
There will be one (1) MWR bus to each airport only leaving at 1630 promptly (LaGuardia and Newark) and return an Monday from each airport also leaving at 1630. (Labor Day Weekend)
 
Requires a little more logistical planning, but I've experienced many of my classmates taking the ferry to garrison station, then taking the train to whichever stop they need to in order to transfer/catch and uber to the airport
