Thanks for all of the updates! And congratulations to all of the students who have been accepted! I'd love to know how acceptances are released as well. Have they released acceptances for all three sessions or are they still only releasing acceptances for session 1 (as most people seemed to indicated)? Any insight on the process is appreciated.Does anyone know if the email notices are released in a 'block-like' method, where approximately 100 acceptances are sent out at a time, or if it operates more on an individual level?
Congratulations!Lets go!! I just got into Summer Seminar! Thank you to everyone for the advice
On the USNA website says, “Students will be notified of their status via email no later than Friday, April 26, 2024.” The Naval Academy begins sending out acceptance emails for NASS the last week of February and you will find out through the end of April if you were accepted or not. Thanks for all of the updates! I was accepted into session 3, but I know many people who haven't gotten a response when they are signed up for sessions 1, and 2. I believe it is a rolling admissions system so even though you might have selected session 1 you might have applied later than someone who selected session 3. Don't worry about it though, you'll receive an email either way, they won't just leave you wondering. Thanks for all of the updates! And congratulations to all of the students who have been accepted! Last year DD requested a session change, but the admin couldn't switch. Still worth trying. DD applied to the NASS around the end of March.Has anyone requested a session change? Assigned session conflicts with Boys State.
Just a generic submission email and that's it. You can email the updated ACT score to summerseminar@usna.eduIs it correct once you submit your Summer Seminar app that you cannot update the ACT scores provided? Also, once you submit the app you receive a generic submission email and that's it - is that correct? You can't see a copy of what you submitted or check the status? TIA
Yes - my son requested a change in session which was approved within 5 business days.Has anyone requested a session change? Assigned session conflicts with Boys State.
