I had heard conflicting reports on whether or not SAT scores would be taken into account this year. Has there been a definitive answer yet if they are or aren't? Thanks!

If the cadet has not taken the AFOQT, the SAT will be substituted for that portion. If the cadet has taken the AFOQT they will use that test.

The past few years the AFOQT/SAT has been used to amount to around 10% of a student's package. This year the rumor is if the weight of these exams will be greater (around 40%). This ofcourse is rumor, nobody knows for certain if this will be implemented for this year or next or never. Usually, nobody knows these things until the Enrollment Allocations come back.

Thanks that is what I was wondering, this site is great. It doesn't make the waiting any easier however.

Yes, if you haven't taken the AFOQT or ACT, SAT will be the governing document needed in the board process. You can have any of the three up for contention is collaboration with your GPA, CC Ranking, PFT, etc.
