Asking for a CVW invitation?

Hi all,

My brother is a HS junior who applied to NASS. We have yet to hear anything back from admissions so we're hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I've read that many juniors received CVW invitations after being denied from SS. He's already been accepted to USAFASS and Boys State, so he couldn't come to NASS anyway unless its the 1st session (AF is his top choice :thumbdown:)

With that being said, he plans on coming up for a CVW anyway, be it this year or next. I'd prefer it be this year... I mean, how cool would it be to have your little brother as a drag? Anyway, how should we go about soliciting a CVW invitation for April? In other words, who should he contact?

I went to NASS, but I did not go to a CVW. I received an invitation to go on 12/19 (just checked my email) so I'm assuming he probably won't hear anything until fall/winter.

Here were the dates for CVW for c/o 2017:

· 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013.

· 5:30 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013.

· 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013.

· 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013.
 
CVW's aren't exclusively for one class. I remember going as a HS senior in April 2012 and just about everyone else were juniors. Furthermore, I was able to solicit a CVW invitation at the last minute.

I'm just asking who is the best person to contact for a CVW invitation.
 
For my DS, getting a CVW his Junior year was as easy as a phone call to the Regional Admissions officer and asking for one.
