Hello, I was posting to ask what my chances are at receiving a scholarship are.
Right now, I play a varsity sport, and may play two this next year. I am technically a captain, although unofficial, as seniors rotate through that position throughout the season. I also have 3 years a JV track program and 3 of a varsity lifting program. I am also about to be an eagle scout(paperwork is being filled out, my recruiter told me to just go ahead and put it on there as I basically have it). In addition, I have played 4 years of varsity orchestra.
Academically, I'm not as strong. I have about a 3.4 GPA, taking 1 AP class this year, 3 next year. My SAT was 1080(550 English, 530 math). My ACT math was 25, the English was beyond terrible.
Do I have a shot? I understand they look at the whole person, I am just afraid my academics are too poor to be competitive.
