Delay in USNA posting high school transcript to portal?

I know my high school sent my transcript to USNA to the correct address in early June. My candidate portal still says not received. All of my other forms show received. Has anyone else had this problem?

It took several months for my DS to show on his portal. His guidance counselor sent it right after his final grades posted a week or so after his junior year. We thought it may have gotten lost in the mail so she actually sent it again it. I finally posted end of July.

DS's was also sent in early June and didn't show up until early last week.

In early June I imagine everyone is focused on processing the incoming class. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a while. You could always call admissions I suppose to see what the status is.

DS Sent in June, Regional said there is at least a 6 week backup, check back at end of summer

I think my DS had the same problem. The first time was his fault. He sent his transcript through Parchment (a third-party service which USNA does NOT recognize).
After he had it go directly from his school, it was still a wait of around 6 or 7 weeks before it showed up on the CIS.

Transcripts must be send by HS directly to USNA. They are inputted by hand. Takes a long time to see them on CIS.

I imagine the data input for thousands of hopefuls’ transcripts is very time consuming. Everybody’s school is slightly different with courses not exactly matching up etc etc. Thanks for letting me know it takes 6 weeks or so. I’m at 7 weeks so hopefully soon.

Ugh, I hate to hear that it is taking that long. My counselor will not submit my transcript until after the add/drop period for the fall semester to show the senior classes on the transcript. So, that means my transcript will not be sent until mid-September and if it takes another six to eight weeks to register in the admissions portal, it may be November. And I can only imagine that the admissions team is going to get more busy over the next few months versus the last month or two. Oh well...

Actually you are probably mistaken about them getting more busy, at least in the sense you mean. Their attention is elsewhere right now processing the incoming class, getting vacations knocked out (they have lives too), and addressing other issues. They know they have time before they really need to begin addressing your class. Patience.
