Still CPR

The academy is still reviewing your application. Maybe for an appointment to the academy; maybe for an appointment to NAPS... it just means that they have not decided or have not sent notification of their decision yet... I look favorably at it... as you are not out until you are out... :)

Does anyone know what it means to still be CPR even though no nomination has been indicated on the portal?
This is the situation I'm in. I've seen individuals on the forum receive TWE's despite having a nomination. I'm trying to take this as a positive, as it means that NAPS is still a possibility!

I know from experience that the last part of a running race can either be the absolute hardest or the most exhilarating- the difference between the two is all in your mindset. Do not give up the ship.
I've been CPR since August, in the same situation. I think we can all handle waiting for another couple weeks. Let's be strong together. Until you're out or in, officially, no one can truly know. We don't see behind the doors of the admissions board (or in today's case, maybe their laptops, since everyone is working virtually, lol). Keep good faith and trust the process. God Bless! :)
^^ The kind of optimism we need

Same here - nom TN-2 and CPR since August. (Both Senators sent me a rejection since I already have a nom, TN does not do duplicate noms) I have the NROTC National 4 year and already planning to attend my NROTC first choice.
BUT, I am still waiting.
I mentioned this on another thread, I have NO expectations of anything from USNA and frankly graduating as an Officer is the goal regardless of how I get there. I agree with an earlier post that no answer right now is better than TWE - still a chance!
Hang in there

Anyone else here also still CPR? In my district I have heard of both appointments and rejections, most of which have happened a month ago, yet I'm still CPR. Is there anything to read from that? and is anyone else in the same boat as me?
I too am still CPR, I haven’t heard of anything (acceptance or rejection) in my district get, my district is the 3rd of NY. I’ve heard that when people find out late they are normally accepted but that seems optimistic, a little too optimistic lol. Hope everyone here finds out some sort of decision soon.

My DS just got updated to CPR on the portal and we are elated. If you are breathing you are still alive and you still have a shot at the brass ring. They asked for added letters of rec from current college profs (re is a reapplicant) so we haven’t had a called strike three yet and are still swinging for the fences. BTW the admissions office folks have been awesome and are on top of things despite all the disruption with Covid 19 so HooYa to USNA admissions for all their hard work. 🇺🇸⚓🐐

They asked for more letters of rec from college professors? Coming from a re-app as well.
