I have been watching this thread for awhile now and finally have something to input. I am also currently listed as CPR. But yesterday during a USNA Q&A the admissions counselor stated that it was an internal goal at USNA to have most decisions sent out by April 1st. The beginning or end may be nearer than expected for a lot of us.

We were on that call as well/ looked like they guesstimate 500 CPR left for 100 or so spots ....

No - he said NAPS was not in that number - also mentioned NAPS had spots left - as well
As a WL for USNA (since applicants have until May 1 To accept ) the waitlist candidates that are told April 15 have to wait until May 1 before they will be notified/ however there was a question that said “if you’ve been denied would you ever be given an additional offer” and the answer was yes it is possible- many people that are in CPR are waiting for waivers and also ones that have LOA are waiting for waivers ( there was about 125 candidates on the call and some of them posted their information regarding this ) that have not come through yet per this CMDR on the call

By my interpretation if you are still CPR, waiting for a waiver, etc... do not give up hope! Stay positive especially during these chaotic times.

CMDR Fajardo is RC for MD, VA & DC. Was the email only sent to those from the region? My DS did not receive the email. If so, and if you know, was the CMDR only speaking about his region?
 
This is great news for those of us in CPR, but I want to make sure that I don’t have false hope here, to clarify, did CMDR Fajardo say the numbers ~500 competing for ~100. Where did you get these figures?

No we are not from any of those states you listed - And there are other people on the call from Georgia Florida California and Michigan-
He answered many questions from other states & told ones that were in those states you mentioned to personally email him questions - he was very helpful to everyone who asked questions

As he typed answers to questions he typed “approx 500 cpr for 100 or so spots “ but I didn’t get to screen shot that part . I just remember thinking there was hope and 20% chance 😉.
