DS was denied USAFA medical waiver due to hearing (one frequency, one ear) and asthma after age 13. I remember seeing somewhere that applicants were allowed to challenge a waiver denial, but I don't remember if that is accurate or applies to all academies. If he was denied due to the hearing, there is nothing else we can do. But if he was denied due to asthma - he could definitely do a methacholine challenge. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? He has a nomination and is a pretty good candidate, we think.
Thanks in advance.
