AROTC decisions

Can you tell me what you mean by school of intent page being locked or not? My DS is B/UC as well and I can click on schools but when I go there I can't do anything. Does that mean it's locked or would I not even be able to click on schools? Thanks for the help!

It'll say that the page is view only when it's locked. It's because they're divvying up your scholarship between your chosen schools.
 
Same here. Also I found that I made an error in my academics section where I had listed 4 years of chorus instead of church today, I just removed it but it shouldn't cause any problem in terms of finding out the board results right?
 
Does anyone know the profile of someone who won a scholarship this year? I am nervously awaiting my results and I need to enlist to the Reserves asap if I have no chance of winning. they are my back up plan so I can for sure be in the military.

There's no rush. Even if you don't get it this board, there's another board in March where it's possible you might receive a scholarship. Either way, you can join ROTC when you're in college whether you receive the scholarship or not. I wouldn't be rushing to join the reserves if the military life is what you want.

There is always the 3 year Brigade level scholarship. You can be also be enlisted in the Reserves and be a cadet at the same time through SMP (Simultaneous Reserve Program)

Take a deep breath. There is still plenty of time and more importantly many options to get you where you want to go. DO NOT rush in and enlist in the Guard/Reserves. Take a step back, use the resources on this board and elsewhere to map out and understand your options. Good advice above on the SMP - here is some info on it to look over:

Yeah I don't recommend making a rushed decision. And yes it would be nice to know someone who has received a scholarship during the October 2020 board or the current one. Because of COVID-19 and what has happened in our schools, its very hard to predict whose getting a scholarship or not. But fingers crossed that we receive one.
