This year feels really weird, eerily quiet. But maybe it's not that strange. Last year for the class of 2024 we ended up with 70 names on this list, split something like 45-25 between EA and RA. Right now we're at 62 names split 48 - 14. With almost a week to go we could still add ten more to end up in about the same place, so perhaps it's just the pacing that's odd. They aren't, but I think he's implying that a generally consistent percentage probably is year to year, which I think is reasonable assumption. My own observation, fwiw, is that the percentage has grown over the last few years. Still, I think we're talking about 20% or less.

I’m currently applying under the cyber major and I havent heard anything back yet; It is possible that it is just be purely coincidental but yeah it’s interesting.

Small sample size. This is roughly 60 of 400 names, and anything can happen when 85% of the data is hidden. There are seven Cyber in there, so the distribution isn't that far out of line. But there are twice as many NAME (10) as MES (5) in this group and they're usually about even.

Hard to say for sure. There's 149 members so based on posts there I'd guess 70 EA, 79 RA. Just a guess though because I don't know for sure.

You will find the majority of appointments are made in EA. If memory serves correct it’s about 70% 30% split.

Is it possible to hear anything over the weekend? Or should we just distract ourselves until Monday, and amp our anxiety then!? Not-so-patiently waiting. Also, if we do not hear anything up to and including 1 April, is that a for-sure no? Could there be an opening in the coming weeks? Thank you. Best of luck to all of us still waiting.

There are always individuals offered after the April date although they will usually be on the waitlist. I don’t think I have heard of someone who got rejected later receiving an appointment in the same academic year.
