Sorry for the late reply...I just saw your question tonight.

4th Congressional District. My DS received calls from both our Senator and Congressman so we are not sure to whom his appointment will be charged...not that it matters at this point. Best of luck to you and your DS!

When did you get them email from the TX Sen? DS got a Sen nom plus appts to USMA and USAFA but hasn't recevied an invite.

That's probably not surprising, and the academy may use those nom sources occasionally early in the process; but my son isn't an athlete and didn't have an LOA. So, I assume that they are working down the NWL at this point. My son's Rep slate was won long ago by the principle nom, who accepted. My son had no other noms, because our Rep and Senators coordinate. So, he was sitting on the NWL early on.

So glad and thankful our sons both got into Challenge, and now into USAFA together once again! CONGRATS!!

My DS got the same breakfast invite even though he did not get his nominations (USMA & USAFA) from Senator Cornyn. Nominations came from MOC Van Taylor.

Congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, what congressional district are you in? Still holding on to hope for my DS in KS.
 
DD just received phone call from our GA-10 Rep this morning notifying her of an appointment to USAFA.
Having been a lurker for the past few months, just wanted to say to those awaiting notification to stay strong and hang in there.
 
DS received the phone call from our MOC this morning notifying him of his appointment! We are in TX. DS is thankful and humbled. He was told a portal update this coming Monday. Good luck to everyone. I have read so many of your posts and I am pulling for everyone on this 2026 thread!
