I’m hoping April 8 will be the next small “wave”It has been too quiet in this thread for the past 7 hours. It's making me nervous. Someone needs to start wildly guessing about something (anything, really) related to admissions.

Since the last drop was calls on Sunday with portal updates on Monday, I would anticipate something similar from here on out.I’m hoping April 8 will be the next small “wave”
CongratsDS in KS just got call from MOC spokesperson today with USAFA appointment! MOC spokesperson said that his appointment will show up in his USAFA portal by Monday, 4/11. We have been reading this forum for a while; thank you for all the information and best of luck to everyone still waiting!

Sorry to hear but glad u got an NROTC offer. Best of luck. The good, now the bad. The TWEs are HERE! Just got punched in the gut by the big algorithmic fist. I know this question has been asked a million times and answered 2 million X, but yes, it shows up in your Portal, no pre-email notification. For those still waiting, the captain has turned on the seatbelt sign, so strap in and await (hopefully not) rough Portal air. I got an NROTC ride to a top school, so the blow has been severely softened by this news. Good Luck to All!

Welcome to the Navy, great post, shows resilience, agility and determination. You’ll be fine. Come back and visit from your NROTC unit to lend a hand when you can with fresh-from-deckplate (Navy speak) advice. The good, now the bad. The TWEs are HERE! national pool is not necessarily a discretionary nominationJust out of curiosity, if you are pulled off the National pool and offered appointment, would you nominating source(s) be contacted, or not since the National pool would use USAFAs discretionary nominations
Like it could still come from your nominating source?national pool is not necessarily a discretionary nomination
yesLike it could still come from your nominating source?
CongratulationsWell, I just got back from being interviewed for my university's ROTC detachment, so plan B is a go (unless USAFA wants to troll me even further by giving me an appointment after I've already decided on ROTC while I reapply.
My DS got his USMA notification from his MOC. He only had a Pres nom for that SA, so we were surprised by the call. The MOC will take credit for all the appointees in his district. Just like the email we receive from our TX Senator inviting him to a statewide congratulations breakfast even though he never receive a SEN nom of any type.Just out of curiosity, if you are pulled off the National pool and offered appointment, would you nominating source(s) be contacted, or not since the National pool would use USAFAs discretionary nominations
