My DD is in the same boat, no pun intended! Good luck to your DDCongrats to all that heard the good news today. No news is still good news, I guess, for DD... when will the selections be out for the board being held this week?
Should be out by the middle of next week but likely late Thursday.Congrats to all that heard the good news today. No news is still good news, I guess, for DD... when will the selections be out for the board being held this week?
Thanks! You did a stats update at some point with totals and averages that I found very interesting. I am curious how many late-push applications were received by that Jan 31st deadline...and how many total applications came in for this yearly cycleShould be out by the middle of next week but likely late Thursday.
Correct. Results are usually out by the end of March, 1st of April. This does not include Marine Options. Their second and final board is in March I think.
GWU PNS will be excited to hear! I'm sure this will be a surprise for him!DD's application was complete last summer, then she was interviewed for potential ISR-- but didn't receive it. She's been patiently waiting.
Notified today: NROTC for GWU, her first choice (and where ahe had her virtual interview) She was admitted Early Decision, will be Tier II major.
For those interested: SAT 1320, weighted-GPA 3.9 with several AP classes; NHS; varsity letters Swim team and Dance team; school paper assistant media editor; community service; Student Ambassador; part-time job since sophomore year; Sea Cadets since age 11, staffing Trainings and earning rank of CPO.
(If she hadn't received scholarship, she planned college-program in hope of a side-load.)
