First Semester of my plebe year, the Brigade Sub-Commander was Class A'd and busted back to ranks when he was caught driving his car
in Annapolis while on Liberty. NOTE: At the time, Firsties were not allowed to own or drive cars until Thanksgiving of 1/C year.

Guessing they will be in restriction the next few weeks also. And probably 4/C privileges until graduation. Guess someone else will be leading parades. Our 1st semester Brigade a commander got a DUI pretty close to graduation.
 
Mid-BDE Commander in last Friday's Spring Parade was not the same from the Army-Navy Game.
 
Anyone tracking leaves before Sea Trials?
DS texted leave 10-14May (Sea Trials 15-16; Herndon 17).
 
Depends! This one was created after the class was decided and on the way to I-Day.

There are lots of threads for waiting and speculating, waitlisted, and plebes-to-be in place.
 
Kid had a drag for CVW this past weekend. Didn't say much about it otherwise.

He did say this morning, one of the other companies had speakers out for PT. They were blaring Nickelback for 45 minutes. He said it was painful. 🤪

I said the other company was probably punishing their Plebes for something. :bleh2:
 
I think the company training officers have relinquished their duties to 2/Cs assigned to train the company plebes for sea trials. The 2/Cs are probably feeling their oats.
 
Kid's last exam is next Wednesday (10th).

We were going to meet him to go out and get Yama Sushi on Saturday with my parents, but he realized he has an exam at 1300. So we'll take some with us to-go and take it to him and then get some ice cream downtown, as a family.

He gets leave after his last exam until the next Sunday (about 4 days), so we'll scoot down to pick him up then. He's got a chit to report back on Monday the 15th so he can go with his GF to see Taylor Swift in Philly on that Sunday (Mother's Day). At least he will be able to hang out for brunch or something in the morning for HIS mom before he has to drive up there to hang with the GF and her mom. :rolleyes:
