My kid, who is now a firstie, hoped to walk on for football. we sent over a hundred emails to the coaches, received one email back. I talked to the athletic director and he told me "every year we have try outs for football. of all the kids who try out, about 15 or 20 make the team. your son will have the opportunity to attend 7 or more football practices during beast." none of it was true.
