DD got her TB tine test last week. She had trouble finding a doctor's office that carried it. She was told that there is a NATIONAL SHORTAGE. Plus this test has to be "read" between 48-72 hrs of receiving the TB shot on your forearm. Please plan accordingly. Good luck and God bless you all.

I know this is ridiculously early, but does anyone know how reliable the fall semester calendar is? I'm already making plans to bring DD home for Christmas because there are only a limited number of flights to Alaska in the winter months. My travel agent said we should get started on it NOW...

This has been so helpful! Where I live in Alaska, there is a finite number of rental cars, so booking early is important. I NEVER would have felt brave enough to wait for mid-August to rent a vehicle because they would be gone. I'm going to restrain myself and wait. Thank you for this...

Oops! i guess I didn't communicate well. i was referring to parents weekend. Anyone have thoughts about that weekend and rentals? I"m guessing it to be busier than graduation week.
