Hi, sorry I didn't see this before. I'm guessing you're question is moot at this point, but just in case I here you go. Based on what we saw on the forums from other candidates in a similar situation, we went with a new plate test, which he passed perfectly, and also had the farmsworth bottle cap test done. We thought he was getting the lantern test, but when we showed up all they had was the bottlecap. It is very hard to find a lantern test site. He actually failed the plate test on I day, but got a perfect score on the lantern test so he was good to go.
