  • What are the PFT standards now to gain acceptance into the PLC program? Would the points expected be different for females versus males?

The PFT standards vary on your age and gender. You want to score as high as possible to be competitive. I believe the minimum is 235 PFT. Candidates who made a 260 or above had a much better chance of getting in but I have seen a few instances where people got selected with 240s. A female can score more points than a male in the PFT if they do say 7 pull-ups where as a male does 7 pull ups.
Is it possible to do both ROTC and PLC during college? I've heard ROTC has to meet over the summer but if you are in PLC as well you wouldn't be able to make the ROTC meetings. I would like to do both because it would help me stay in shape better but I'm not sure if this is just a bad idea? And what was the percentage of people who were dropped in your first and your second time doing PLC?
