Maybe I should have elaborated a little more.............. In the past 20 years my DS's BGO has successfully guided 3 candidates to gain appointments. This year, he had 3 (which included our DS). Also, there 2 other BGOs who work this same general area. One would have actually been closer...

None of our MOC choose a principle. They all submit the max number of candidates and let the USNA sort them out. I don't have specifics on how competitive our district is however 3 students out of our district are now Plebes at USNA. Coincidentally, all 3 also had the same BGO.

Our DS thought the Permit to Report package was even more paperwork than the original application.
