    We visited a few schools on the East Coast over the summer but none of them got her excited the way USNA did. She kept asking me to take her picture in front of stuff, which didn't really happen anywhere else except for Duke (but to a much lesser extent).

    She hasn't heard from USAFA, but I've heard they are running behind this year because of new computer systems. She got an LOA from USNA and is just waiting to hear back from DODMERB. She took her eye exam last Monday so hopefully, she will get that taken care of shortly.

    She weighs 103 lbs which is 1 pound too light for her height so I am not sure if that will cause an automatic DQ at DODMERB which would require a waiver. It may be much easier to feed here a bunch of cookies and have her reweighed. Good luck to your son!
