I was also not in the best shape before my CFA. I did pushups, the basketball throw, and pull-ups EVERY DAY leading up to it. It helped immensely. Consistency is key

After doing CST, I realized I am very interested in being a SERE Specialist and I feel like it is what I am built for. However, after doing research, it seems as though it is only enlisted people. Is this true, and if so, would it be crazy to drop out of usafa to enlist to potentially become one?

I got straight A’s in high school, and never had to study once. Last semester, I got all A’s in my classes except for physics. I put the same amount of effort I put in for high school (which wasn’t very much), and i ended up failing physics (but managed to pull off A’s in my other classes)...

I wore my good boots all of jack’s (including the assault course) and I definitely recommend doing that. It’s all about personal preference, but I felt it was more important to be comfortable. I am still wearing the same boots and they don’t look super worn.

There’s a lot of mental games the cadre play, especially the first half since they can’t PT. I’m honestly not sure how to prepare, but physical training will help. There’s not much to prepare for mentally, you just kinda have to jump in

Like what is mentally difficult or like how to prepare?

Honestly it took me a while to fully feel adjusted. However, they weren’t allowed to PT us the first part of basic, which helped a lot (although I did feel out of shape after that). Honestly I wish I had prepared better mentally. Basic was more of a mental challenge than a physical one…I did not...

Does the watch have to be all black, or can it be any color?

Nope. On the portal it says that stuff will be added later, probably 2 weeks out from I-day. The only thing on the portal now is the travel info
