Let's say Midshipman successfully completes Leatherneck but decides to go Navy. After being an officer in the Navy, what would the process be for transferring to the Marine Corps? Would they go through OCS even though they completed Leatherneck?

I don't think anyone else has said this yet, the boxing team does not recruit anyone. All of its members are walk-ons, and the team holds try outs every year. Some people are also encouraged to try out after taking the boxing class.

If you want to use it during the academic year, I recommend a plain black bag. You'll get issued one either way though. Good luck.
