We received our second phone call from our pc today. Until this point, all communication has been relatively positive. He said it was tough, but that the other pc's were great, one big family, all looking out for each other. We were impressed with how well he was handling the pressure. Yesterday he learned that he was being moved from 3rd company to 5th company because their class was very large and with the returning midshipman there wasn't enough room in the barracks. This meant he would be moving from the nice, new barracks, to the old barracks with no air conditioning. And it meant he would be leaving the pcs he had bonded with during indoc. Worse, word on the street was that 5th company was made up of the "screw ups". He is devastated! And I am a mess! It was going so well. He was working hard, missing home, but dealing with it. And now this! Sounds like an administrative screw up. They admitted too many pcs. Anyone else dealing with this? Any advice?
