Thanks for your prayers I would love that to happen and so would he. I am very proud of him. He is doing ok with not being accepted and I think he is praying for someone to decline and he would accept a Scholar position. Not sure what he thinks about trying next year I will bring that up in a couple of months.

Hmmm, well I will be secretly praying that someone declines and your son gets picked up. We need more Coasties in MA. Good luck to you and your son. From the sounds of the chatter among my son and the friends that are attending UMASS they love it, so I am sure he will do great. If he was able to get through the admission process with USCGA to this point he is something really special and will excel at UMASS. You must be so pround of him. How is he taking not getting accepted? Do you think it would do any good for me to have my son speak with him? He knows the feelings that he is going through only to well. Will he reapply next year?

We are in Wilmington, MA . My son would be interested in a Scholar program, but when he asked the Admission Officer about that today he told him that all the spots were taken, so to UMASS he goes, I know he will do great he was accepted early there into there Chemical Engineering Program. Thanks and good luck to your son wonderful that he get to be the class of 2016
