    This is such an encouraging story!! my DS is waiting to hear about nominations from senators. He got a denial from MOC and we are stressed. Can you tell me a little bit more about the late nomination story? thanks!

    DD order of preference was USNA, USMA, USAFA. She got a principal nom to USMA and an unranked nom to USNA. She got LOAs and then offers from USMA and USNA. She committed to USNA and didn’t give any more thought to USAFA.

    Around April 27 or 28, she got word from USAFA of an LOA pending a nom. Two days later, it became an offer of appointment, though we never learned of the source of the nom.
