Need some advice:
My son has been invited and has accepted the invitation to attend the Candidate Visitation Weekend stay in early April.
He has two nominations, is all qualified, attended summer seminar and got his application in this September. HERE IS THE PROBLEM: he is waiting to hear from the Navy and does not know yet if he will receive an appointment. He was diagnosed with Mono a week ago. He is determined not to let himself be sick and is trying to keep it all together. He looks like he is ready to keel over but he will not quit. Missing the CVW is not even a possibility in his mind. As a parent I am torn , I feel like the Navy is waiting for this weekend to make their final decision and don't know how to advise him.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully
