I went to Ft Meade and tried on Danner, Rocky’s and Nikes. I ended up buying the Nikes. They fit the best and got good reviews.

We were able to use both the AROTC scholarship (to cover tuition) and a merit scholarship (to cover room and board). However, it took some negotiating with the school to make that happen.

You suggested buying and breaking in boots ahead of time. Are there any boots that you recommend? And are they used more for running or rucking? I don’t want to buy anything too heavy or too light.

I don’t see anything other than the link that brings me back the dodmerb tricare website that explains the need for an AMI

I just received a letter saying that I need an Administrative AMI completed due to low BMI. The letter also states that because the AMI is listed as Administrative, that I can complete it on my own without seeing my physician. How do I go about doing that? Is there a form for me to fill out?

She received the 3 year to her top 3 schools. I forgot to put that in my post.

1150 SAT, 3.78/4.08 GPA, just short of a perfect PFT, 4 year varsity soccer player, NHS, FCA, approx 400 community service hours, mock trial, 4 years JROTC (XO junior year, BC senior year), raiders competition team, drill team, color guard, selected for Girls State (cancelled due to COVID), etc...

(I’ve read so many past threads that I think I’m going cross-eyed, so I’ll just come out and ask). So “each application is only boarded once”, is that what BOARDED means? And is BOARDED a good sign or are we getting our hopes up for nothing? (edited to add that my DD didn’t complete her...

DD’s is Boarded, too, but we’re trying not to get our hopes up.
