I've always wondered if a provisional appointment actually held any weight in terms of actual acceptance later. All my kids got their provisional appointments when they were infants. I always thought of them as purely ceremonial. RVM

ADHD and meds would preclude him from obtaining an AFROTC Scholarship, but would not prevent him from attending VMI and participating in ROTC. Commissioning after graduation might be an issue if still on the meds whether it be via OCS or a direct commission. RVM!
