What is the deadline to accept an Appointment? Do not want to risk it being taken away if taking too long to accept (waiting to accept with special person (Active Duty) there also - but will not see them until late March)...

My son had a similar situation. First he sent in his college transcripts through an on-line 3rd party (who is approved and used by the University) - he sent this 12/20 (the day the transcripts became available) However 3 weeks later he was contacted by USNA and told that USNA will not accept...

When your portal updated on 02/02 - did it change to an Appointment - or another QNS letter? Hope you received wonderful news! Last year my son was on the NWL - and No Appointment....This year, he is on the NWL again...praying it's not Groundhog Day....

My non-cadet was up there last year for a day tour - He gave his guide a $20 Starbucks gift card. His cadet guide was super friendly and helpful. (There was a Starbucks in Grant Hall at that time....., not sure if it's still there...I would think it is?)

HONESTLY - Other SA’s accept an electronic version. It comes to the specified recipient from an electronic transcript service where they have to retrieve them by a secure link - the student never has access to any of it. I just don’t understand why this isn’t also acceptable to USNA.

Yes - the college has sent them by mail - twice. We have verified the USNA address - it is correct. I have told my son to get them a 4th time and then take the sealed envelope and go to Fed Ex and overnight them to USNA. It’s ridiculous.

Somewhat concerned here. My son sent USNA his college transcripts on 12/20 (the day they became available) electronically. He learned on 01/07 that electronic submission (direct from the University) is not acceptable. He then resent them - direct from the University on 01/07 by mail. He then...
