I see there are people in the Air Force (enlisted) who have type 2 diabetes.
But I'm wondering if AFROTC DoDmerb also allows people to join AFROTC and commission with type 2 Diabetes?
Looks like I am going to be able to join AFROTC this year.
I'm interested in the ICSP (in-college scholarship). I'm 32 (older cadet) and everyone I have asked the above questions seems to not know the answer.
My future cadre is not going to be in til the Fall, which is why I am here asking this...
Welp, the guy who diagnosed me only saw me for 20 mins... I highly doubt thats an adaquate time to do a full mental evaluation. I have never had flashbacks or anything ptsd related and know I dont have ptsd. So i think getting a new evaluation would help a lot.
If i dont have it then i dont have...
Should I be worried about the Psychiatrist who saw me only once (for 20 minutes) and diagnosed me with PTSD? I deeply believe he wrongfully diagnosed me. But i heard ptsd is a disqualifier altogether.

What are my chances of getting into afrotc with a 7yr old dui and a history of depresion?
i never took any meds for it, does that help? i have no other arrests other than the dui and i plan to get a new mental health evaluation saying i am cured. will all of that plus waivers be enough?
