  • congratulations to you and your son! to answer your question, we had one recruited baseball player this year as well. he worked out with 2 or 3 former baseball players/players aspiring to play at USMA. one teacher offered to coach a team if they could get a decent number, but it fell through. It's always great to have the football background. If nothing else, the friends your son will make during the first few week in the tight-knit group will stick with him (as was in mine and many others cases.)
    quick question for you. my son is attending the prep school next year and he was informed by Mr Mueller that there will be no Prep baseball team. Is there something else to keep in shape and his skills up for the Following year. He is also a football player, plays fullback and long snaps and does the snapping for field goals Played with Ray Maples at West Catholic and is hopefully be part of the martial arts team if they find a coach..lol any info would be great
